What To Expect
Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge
The Refuge is home to hundreds of manatees + friendly dolphins so keep your eyes peeled! Our guides will lead you to the best spots to view wildlife up close. The Refuge also contains over 1000 species of plants, 117 species of fish, 68 amphibians and reptiles, 330 birds, and 31 mammal species, of which at least 14 species are listed as endangered by the state of Florida or by the US federal government. There’s no shortage of wildlife!
